Graduate Quantity Surveyor

The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking Graduate Quantity Surveyors for a number of our offices located in the UK. Locations include Birmingham, Newcastle and our Croydon head office helping us to support and grow our client base.

The Role:

Reporting in to an Associate or Senior Associate, the role includes all aspects of quantity surveying and cost consultancy pre and post contract duties including preparation of tenders, cost planning, compiling estimates, contract administrative agreement of final accounts, value engineering and procurements / standardisation work.

You will have the opportunity to work across a range of industry sectors including retail, residential, education, health, bank monitoring, industrial & logistics, commercial, leisure, and transport and infrastructure. Requirements:

To apply it is essential that you:

  • Have a minimum of 3 years’ post degree experience
  • Are recently qualified or be willing to work towards your APC for RICS
  • Possess experience in electronic take-off software, CostX or similar
  • Have working knowledge of Microsoft office, Excel & Project
  • Have Health and Safety awareness
  • Have strong relationship management and client facing skills and can consistently offer an excellent standard of customer care
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent planning, problem solving and decision making skills
