M&E Quantity Surveyor

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a dynamic and driven M&E Quantity Surveyor to grow and expand our team based from our London or Croydon Office.

The Role

The role includes all aspects of quantity surveying/cost management and their pre and post contract duties from inception stage of a project through to close out of the final account. This will include preparation of tender documents, contracts and budgets. Report on each project, highlighting risks and implementing strategies. Manage all aspects of the contractual and financial side of core M&E projects. As well as, Cost planning, compiling estimates, contract administration, agreement of final accounts, value engineering and procurements / standardisation work.

You should have the ability to demonstrate excellent planning, problem solving and decision making skills. As well as being able to adapt and consistently offer an excellent standard of client care.

To apply it is essential that you:

  • Have a minimum of 5 years’ industry working experience
  • Are recently qualified or willing to work towards your APC for RICS accreditation
  • Possess experience in electronic take off software, CostX or similar
  • Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Project
  • Show strong relationship management and client facing skills and can consistently offer an excellent standard of customer care
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent planning, problem solving and decision making skills.
