Ongoing training and development
The ongoing development of our teams is at the centre of our business. We were one of the first UK construction consultancy firms to be accredited with the Investors In People award in 1998 and we have recently gained a ‘gold accreditation’, which is only awarded to the top 2% of employers. We have an award-winning non-cognate training programme, and an in-house APC programme. We also offer training opportunities to enable you to become qualified in your particular field, whether that's in a technical or support role.

We offer training and development at all stages of your career and encourage all team members to develop their knowledge through regular CPD events. You also have opportunities to develop other skills through software, presentation and management training. We also fully support employees who retrain and change their career paths.

Contribute to the environment and the community
We have an ongoing partnership with the inspirational charity Together for Short Lives. All employees have a day a year to use towards helping the charity, either to spend time volunteering at the charity’s fundraising events, or being part of a fundraising activity. Each year we pledge 2% of our profits to the charity, and over the last five years have raised over £170,000 through this and staff fundraising. Sustainability is also at the heart of what we do, and we concentrate on reducing our carbon footprint through our ISO 14001 certified Environmental Management System.

Our international workload is growing, and our offices in South Africa and Australia are expanding. We also work on a variety of other projects abroad, including across Europe and the Middle East.
