Project Description:
Henry Riley provides cost consultancy services for multiple services upgrade and replacement works often with contractors working concurrently over 3 to 4-month durations and in phased project work.
Works included:
- Domestic water replacement/upgrades
Phased works A-E consisting the replacement to the existing domestic water pipework services installations serving BU03. Works also include pre-modification readings and surveying of existing services along with the removal of redundant services, in conjunction with the installation of new. - Steam boiler house replacement
Replacement of Steam Boiler No 3 and the addition of a testing platform on level 5 of the steam boiler house.There are three existing boilers (4, 5, 6) and two incinerators (1, 2). The new boiler replaces an existing boiler which has been removed and is located in a position previously occupied by a Combined Heat & Power unit which has also been removed.
- Chiller replacements
The works comprise in the main to the sequenced replacement of the existing air-cooled chiller plant and chilled water pipework / ancillaries servicing the existing air handling units at BU25 and BU08 roof plantrooms at level 4.Four units replaced with 5 Mitsubishi modular units and buffer vessel with higher cooling load to allow duty/stand by operation.
